Let's hope so!It going to go south quickly at St. John’s. Too many egos and NIL jealousy’s.
Did you guys read the article? It’s behind a pay wall. Maybe read that first before assuming it’s a negative take down.
First time on this board, lol? This is what we are worrying about?
And Richmond is about 7-6-6 so far, 47% from the field and 40% from 3. Small sample size, but not taking a lot of shots, and probably deferring some which is kind of the guy he's been most his career. Kadary has never been a game-in, game-out big time scorer unless he was forced to play that way by circumstances. I always thought he more of a hybrid PG or point-forward than a true PG because his skillset for his size is different and unique.Am I missing something or has St. John’s won all three of their games by a wide margin?
They're 3-0 with an average winning margin of better than 25 (32, 23 and 21). We've already lost to the team they beat by 32.Am I missing something or has St. John’s won all three of their games by a wide margin?
You come off like a jilted lover. Zach is playing the role of useful idiot.Ohh so when the NY Post says it you guys love it. When I say it, you ridicule..
He doesn't have to take these games over. The competition ramps up on Sunday and Kadary will be challenged. I'd bet he looks more for his then. Not a coincidence he comes off the bench the last game and then this story comes out. Pitino is living the KR Experience. He beats to his own drum. It's not that he's a malcontent, he's simply in his own world.
They want him to be the 15-7-5 player he was at The Hall to open things up for everyone. Their ceiling is much lower if he's a 7-6-6 guy.
You are right, but honestly there is little point trying to be objective on this topic with some. Which I get. This topic is like the recent election on steroids. I said before the season it is going to rival some of the past Rutgers stuff, Posh-stuff, Hurley at Uconn pre-title, etc, for the level of delusion. He doesn't have to take these games over. The competition ramps up on Sunday and Kadary will be challenged. I'd bet he looks more for his then.
It shouldn't escape notice that he made a big defensive play that sparked SJU's game-changing 18-0 run against Wagner. Another instance that, as often happened here, he makes plays that don't necessarily show up in a box score.
Sounds like many games at SHU.So much for Rick getting him ready for the pros by developing his 3 point shooting.Richmond had a very strange game today.
Played almost the entire game
7-14 from the field for 14 points
0-1 from the arc
0-1 from the stripe
8 rebounds
5 assists
4 steals
7 turnovers
He didn't look nearly as ball dominant as he did for us. Obviously they have other players to help carry the load.Richmond had a very strange game today.

I understand why you think this and the wishful thinking behind it. But they didn’t have any chemistry issues last year and certainly there doesn’t appear to be any this year. Richmond’s line today was very similar to what we saw here for years.KR left for money pure and simple, he had a home that appreciated him. The disconnect with SJU is Petino's style and KR's style. KR is a patient and deliberate point guard, a quality that was well suited for Sha's defense first mentality. Pitino loaded up on talent and he wants to play an up tempo game, this will be an issue as the season progresses.
I'm predicting huge chemistry issues for SJU, a prediction that I've made each of the last 5 seasons. You can't fit a square peg into a round hole.
KR will be richer at SJU, but he would have been happier at SHU.
