The Rock sucks. Is it too much to ask that they show the stats at the game and actually update them for the fans? Last night from our vantage point stats were not posted until halftime. In the second half they were never updated at all. We pay a premium to attend these games as season ticket holders and no one does the stats? This has happened a number of times the last few years and the SHU and Rock management should be ashamed.

Do you think it's a technical glitch or lack of available personnel to operate it? The first few times I thought it was the former, but it's happened so frequently that I doubt that's the case.

I pulled up the box score on my phone in the first half because they weren't available in the arena. I agree, this has to be updated, but is this a SHU or Rock responsibility? I would think it's the schools.

I am sure it was technical. I don't remember this happening before. It was frustrating. Some of the elevators were also not working.

'75 - it's happened quite a few times where the board was non-functional. There were at least 2 or 3 times last year.

An hour or so before the doors opened last night there was a kitchen fire in the rock and they had to evacuate building. Everything was screwed up when the doors opened.

Most top D1 coaches have soldering irons and other electrical tools and repair parts with them at all times.

It is clearly something Willard needs to work on.

The Rock is a typical modern piece of crap building. Within the first few months of it opening the faucets and paper towel dispensers in the bathrooms were already not functioning properly.

Willard forgot his screwdriver and couldn't fix the stats board in time for the game..clearly another coaching issue..

People greatly exaggerate both the influence and degree to which coaches can influence a game.

To quote Mike Tyson "everybody has a plan until you get hit. "

Lay off the coach, it just sounds boring and ridiculous.

I am pissed the women at the VIP entrance did not say hello to me when I entered he Rock.

Also, my beer was a little foamy.

Damn Kevin Willard, I am going to give him a piece of my mind on these topics.

He JC, were you sitting courtside, front row to the right of the FS1 broadcast team?

Depends whose asking.

If your going to yell at me for being loud then no it was not me.

But yes, that is where Sammi and I sit.

Rock is a good place. My only wish is that they would dim the lights a little bit over the crowd. So damn bright in there

they have bare minimal staffing for shu games because there is no gate

This is obviously an issue for SHU and the Rock - not the coach. But it's disappointing when every other sports venue I attend (most are professional - but this is a professional arena) posts the stats all game long. They can do better is all I'm saying. We are second class citizens at the Rock IMO and that is probably due to our attendance. But common posting the stats is not that hard.

Was just asking because I had an intuition as to who you are - were you the fellow with the white cap on backwards?

And yelling loud is a good thing - at least we try to yell like crazy as well from behind the bench.

Cant really expect much from a building in Newark lol. But seriously, that is so Seton Hall its not even funny. Typical bush league stuff. Somebodys gotta fix that.

So it's settled dim the lights over the crowd and turn them on in the bathroom

Glad I wasn't only one that noticed the lack of the stats board vs georgia. I was looking for it all game, and they finally put it up late in the 2nd half
