We have to come out with that same intensity that we exhibited throughout the entire game against Xavier. Knock them out early. Play the whole game with that “chip-on-our shoulders/we don't get any respect /any National Recognition” attitude and mind-set. That's when we play our best- with passion.

From the first tip-off, never let DePaul even have the slightest thought or, hope they could win the game. Take out DePaul early. I am confident that we will not witness the following game scenario; specifically, I do not want to endure a close score with 5 minutes left in the game; and again I am confident that the final score will not be close.

I know for a fact that right at this moment to a player, they are - -ssed _ ff! The players are all focused on the job-at-hand namely winning the final game of the regular season in an impressive fashion. Beyond that, although Coach and the players are not talking about it, winning The Big East Tournament and going deep into the NCAA’s!

In hindsight, I might have posted the above too early in the week.

Nice post. Agree. We can not let them hang around into second half. Take it to them from start.

I worry about too much emotion. We're a very, very good team. We don't need to be pissed off, just motivated. You have to be very good to win 12 games in this conference and we can accomplish that today. There's no way DePaul can beat us IF we play basketball at the level we are capable of playing. That's what a season is all about. You go through ups and downs, guys ride highs and lows at points in time, hoping that it all comes together and we peak this time of year. That's what makes Izzo such a great coach in my opinion. Today we need to win, make no mistake about it, but it's more important that we win and continue playing high level ball going into the upcoming tournaments.

Let's keep our composure, play within ourselves and simply play defense and box out. If we do those things, we will win this game vs. DePaul. We are the better team and we are playing for much more.
I don't think this game's outcome will determine our NCAA Tourney status, however, it will definitely influence our seeding.
Bring this one home before we go off to the Garden next week!

It just annoys me that DePaul always seems to play so relaxed against us and
we play right into that.

If you see DePaul with success launching 3's early then we may have to sweat it out. Limit
the turnovers, especially in the first half and play with a lead.

Up by 4 at the half, but no defensive and rebounding intensity what so ever.

Does Angel have the flu?

Up by 6 with 30 seconds, DP calls time out, we need a stop to stall their mo, and Singh is on the floor!

Hope the coach can light a fire under them at half time.
