Some of the years pitchers had back then were amazing. Reminds me of Marichal killing it and losing the Cy Young to Sandy K. 4 complete games! Is that even humanly possible anymore? Gibson in that crazy year when his ERA was so low. Koufax. McLain. Guidry. Hershiser. Carlton the year the Phillies sucked. So many. Now half of the good pitchers have had at least one TJ surgery while pitching 6 innings a game.
