100% They change the criteria every single year and can justify their decisions with using another metric.
IF SHU was texas at 19-15 and 6-12 conf record they'd say way too many bad losses. But it's Texas so lets look at their good wins and disregard bad losses. 6-12????
Far different climate on metrics and less field...1994 SHU was a 10 seed with 17 wins and going 8-10 in the big east which was a 7th place finish...their SOS was 8th in the country and yes bubbles should not be compared
That's a joke not many are talking about. No team should ever get an invite with a conference record of 6-12.
And they didn't beat anyone good in OOC either. They're best OOC win was over #79 KP St.Joseph's. Have to hope Xavier knocks them out. Big East needs every dollar and every Win in the tournament is $2 Million to the Conference.
BTW, Oklahoma also got in at 6-12 but they were 13-0 OOC With 3 good Q1 Wins.
The SEC just whipped everyone this year. By far the highest KP rating for a conference in 30 years and every team benefited from it.
