When all the SJ guys were jumping around and whooping it up on Saturday, Richmond was just walking around cool as a cucumber. I’m sure he was excited but he just doesn’t show it. Stuff he was criticized for by some SHU fans (ie supposedly no passion) he is praised for now at his new venue.

Yeah, was just having a conversation about that; all chalk for the most part...no "story lines" to pull in the "casual" fan.
I doubt anyone in the P4 cares, but this tournament is the "golden goose" for college basketball...if they kill it by having it become the college football playoffs (for which you can probably name the majority of the teams that will make it next year...right now) they will only have themselves to blame.
