Mark Few drunk video

To be honest, my attorney told me that if ever in that situation to do exactly as he did. Admit to nothing, agree to no evaluation. Call him. If you don’t confess or allow an evaluation you can fight it later. Once you agree to be evaluated you’re done.
Each state has different legislation...in NJ if the operator of a motor vehicle is suspected of a a DWI by patrol they will ask them to do a balance test put them in custody tow the vehicle and then have a breathe test at the local police station. I wouldn't refuse a breathe test in NJ

wait so now the board is saying we should refuse to comply? after countless incidents saying "well if they just complied..."

wonder what the difference is.
Well, your a bit off here. Not complying to take field sobriety test or taking a breathalyzer is not the same to resisting arrest. You don't have to speak to the police and comply with their demands to speak with you either. But once they arrest you, you cannot resist that arrest. Two different things all together.

Not a good idea in to refuse breathalyzer in NY either buddy.

Why do you like making up things that I say or incorrectly assume my thoughts on topics?

What did I post that is hypocritical regarding Covid? I think all players should be vaccinated like all the students, my thoughts haven’t changed.

Why would you assume what I think about the assistant hires years ago? How can you compare that to the face of the program being arrested for a DUI?

Dude your tactics of making up facts is gross.

His advice may have been specific to then-existing NY law at the time, as I clarified in a prior post, since he is a former NY ADA. Thankfully I've never had to take his advice and been in a position where I've had to be evaluated for potentially driving under the influence.

On slimy tactics, were you OK with us hiring Tiny Morton and Antigua to get players? Because if you want to talk about slime and bad dudes, they are at the top of the list when it comes to college basketball. Based on the level of hypocrisy attached to your COVID-related posts -- which are frequent on LOTS -- my guess is you were perfectly fine with those hires because it made our basketball team much better, just like you are noticeably silent on the revelation that several of our players are not vaccinated yet competing this year.

no no. dont twist it. it was about complying in the first place. some instances were about resisting, but many were simply about complying. the mighty on this board constantly said "if they just comply in the first place, nothing bad would happen", "if they just listened to the police..." etc it was NOT only about only resisting arrest. there were such cases where people werent even under arrest.

but now multiple people talking about how they shouldnt comply. living in a completely different world than their judgements. they dont even understand how contradictory they are, they dont even understand how delusional they come across about the world they live in. cop wont escelate with them, the fact they even have a personal lawyer on call, etc

im not a guy who ever tries to say others are priveledged, but the situation here clearly shows some live in a different world.

So you think our unvaccinated players are creating an unsafe environment for players, coaches and fans. If little kids should be forced to wear masks in school and/or be vaxxed to attend school and create a safe environment, I assume you think our players should have to wear masks indoors or be vaxed in order to play. Meaning if that does not happen and those kids can practice (as they are) and play (as they will), I assume you will repeatedly call out our program and coach with the same righteous indignation you address shu09 and others who disagree with you on COVID stuff.

PS - having Tiny Morton associated with our program is worth than Few’s indiscretion. Few by all accounts is a good guy that made a bad mistake. Morton is shady as hell and represents everything bad about amateur sports.

the real advice is to not drink and drive. go ahead and get blasted but take the train, uber, get a DD, etc

probably easier said than done since ive lived in a city my entire adult life. eastern washington probably a lot harder. a lot of time it stems from innocent fun.

I don’t recall an instance in which the person was not resisting arrest. Maybe you are right and I just don’t recall it.
