It's the fifth time she's been honored by the BIG EAST this season.

NEW YORK – Seton Hall's Faith Masonius (Spring Lake, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

It's the fifth time this year that Masonius has been honored by the conference and her fourth BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll.

Masonius continued her breakout season with a pair of big performances last week for Seton Hall. The graduate student led The Hall with 23.5 points and 4.0 steals per game. On Tuesday against No. 5 LSU in the Hall of Fame Women's Showcase, Masonius erupted for a career-high 29 points on 10-for-22 shooting, including 3-for-6 from three-point range. She also had five rebounds, and three steals. Against Providence in Seton Hall's BIG EAST opener on Saturday, Masonius had 18 points to go with five rebounds and five steals.

Connecticut's Sarah Strong was named BIG EAST Player and Freshman of the Week. Those joining Masonius on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll include: Creighton's Morgan Maly, DePaul's Taylor Johnson-Matthews, Marquette's Lee Volker and Villanoa's Jasmine Bascoe.

Seton Hall will return to action when it travels to Indianapolis, Ind. to face Butler on Sunday, Dec. 29. Tip time is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed live by the Pirate Sports Network and available for FloCollege subscribers.
