Just don’t understand how schools below the P4 can financially support football. The BE media deal nearly equals the Mountain West and AAC and we only have basketball. The new PAC 8/10/12 at 9 million per school isn’t going to cut it. Of course we know state schools get subsidies.

Just don’t understand how schools below the P4 can financially support football. The BE media deal nearly equals the Mountain West and AAC and we only have basketball. The new PAC 8/10/12 at 9 million per school isn’t going to cut it. Of course we know state schools get subsidies.

If you can actually fill a stadium, that's a big offset. Of course it seems like only the traditional powers can do that.

For reference, UConn football lost about $13M last year.
