After watching Ekatirina', "Victoria", and "The Crown", I gained an appreciation for the weight of being a monarch.
Looking at Queen Elizabeth's life I have the utmost respect for her.
From a historic perspective, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. At the moment I think the Queen and the monarchy have the upper hand. The monarchy is bigger than Megan and Harry. I think they miscalculated the effect of blindsiding the Queen and disrespecting her publicly.
Newsweek tried to play the race card that I don't think that will go anywhere.
Historically I think this is on a close level to King Edward and Wallis Simpson, an American divorcee who disrupted the monarchy.
