The La Lumiere Head Coach is now an Assistant at DePaul which is likely what led to that get

Great move by DePaul just like it was a tremendous move by Willard when he did it. Sometimes it only takes that one advantage to get a coach/program over the hump.

By contrast, Tubby lost 4 Five-Star Lawson's and a huge asset in local Memphis recruiting by not keeping Papa Lawson as a coach.

If I was a floundering program/coach, I'd call a guy like Kevin Boyle or Mike Rice and have a chat.

Why wait till your program is floundering. If you have the opportunity to hire an assistant with great recruiting ties hire him.
