Did you associate the games in Providence last week with their worst season in 40 years?
No one cares.
Absolutely nobody attending or watching cares. Many won’t even know we play our games there
I have been to my multiple NCAA Tournaments. It’s never crossed my mind who plays there or who is hosting nor have I ever heard anyone even talk about it.
Plus they moved a lot of the marketing for the host schools to the side, it’s not as centered as it used to be. It’s basically just a thank you for relying on the school for logistical and planning support. I don’t even know if watchers will pick up our logo as it’ll be tucked in a corner on the baseline.
