As noted on another thread and with all due respect, dropping down a notch is not the answer. Where are we playing our MAAC level games? 1200 seat Walsh Gym built in the 1930s? And who is coming. to see that after being a charter BE member? It would be the end. Not saying we’re not in a tough place, we are. But it’s either figure it out or we are dead.

Down a level would be A10. We’d be MAAC level and we don’t even have a MAAC level gym to play in. Nobody’s coming.

We need a steady PG, a big that can cause disruption in the paint and a wing that can hit threes. From the 7000 players in college and high school. 5 coaches have to find that. Do that and we can be somewhat successful. Dropping out of The BigEast should never be considered.

The Big East revenue is the only thing that keeps us from being St. Peter's or Wagner.

If that goes away, we'll be looking at dropping athletics altogether because we might not be competitive there either.
