With no sports to watch I guess this is a good time to discuss movies we have seen recently or are worth recommending. My wife and I like murder mysteries such as the various Agatha Christie adaptions. We also watch some British mysteries on Acorn TV (unless the strong accents make it too hard to understand upon occasion) . Anyway last night we streamed KNIVES OUT. Very good movie with a lot of twists and turns. Not sure that we understood all that happened in the final scenes though. Anyone else see this movie and want to give their thoughts. Or thoughts on any other movies you've seen of late.

I watched a quiet place... super intense not sure its the best movie for high anxiety times lol. It was good though. Also splurged for invisible man and it was pretty good. Definitely keeps your attention

Good family movie or movie for anyone to watch McFarland USA - terrific story and you won't be sorry you watched (feel good stuff and based on a true story). The movie about JRR Tolkiens life was pretty good (Tolkien) - interesting. Most folks probably saw Joker - it was much better than I thought it would be. Enjoyed it and Joaquin Phoenix absolutely deserved best actor. Not the best family movie but thought it was very good.
Rented Parasite - one of the most different movies I have ever seen. I did not think I would enjoy a movie with subtitles but did. Humorous in parts - very different story - brief gore in one scene and a strange few final scenes. Kept my attention throughout and all I can say is I was glad I watched it, but very different experience.

I watched Uncut Gems recently. I think it's now available to rent on demand. It's high tension throughout the movie and might not be the best for you if you suffer from anxiety, lol.

Great performance from Sandler, highly recommend.
