Replaceable but was hoping he stayed. After a rough start I thought he settled in nicely as a starter. I saw improvement in his decision making and he was disruptive defensively. I thought another year under Sha would be good for his development but this is the nature of business now. Lots of spots to fill
I wanted him back, but in a different role. You never know, maybe he comes back? If not, Sha lost two key pieces in his late game trapping with the departure of Middleton. On the other hand the object us not having to constantly play from behind.
Good chance he chose not to come back due to his projected different role.

Have to question the decision to go into the portal with surgery happening and a rehab of six months which puts him into late October if it goes well. What team is going to take a chance and "fund" him given the situation? Another example of the craziness that is the portal.

Agreed, I saw the same. Everyone is saying good riddance to the guys hitting the portal but to date we can barely field 5 guys to start much less have a full squad for practice.
Not me! I thought Sha told guys don't come here if you are not staying for 2 years. No base team to build on. This is way worse than I imagined! At least for now.
