What is true is that nothing is certain at this point. After words were exchanged on the bench with Whitehead a cooling off period ensued. Eventually the Gibbs family with Sterling had a meeting with our head coach and a future course of action was explored.
Unfortunately shortly after that the Nova incident led to his two game suspension. Gibbs will miss one more game and then take his place with Whitehead in the starting lineup.
What happens moving forward is anyone's guess.
Sterling as a graduating 5th year senior can transfer if he chooses without having to sit out a year in 2015/16.
