A defense free game. Kolek has driven left every time he has tried. Colo getting to the rim. Good game thought. Put it away Cam.

Colorado played by the rules. Didnt commit fouls. And now they are punished for not breaking the rules.

Huh? They played by the rules so now they are punished because they cannot take advantage of . . . breaking the rules?

On to play North Carolina State in the Sweet 16 . Does Shaka now become a hot name when programs are looking for a head coach.

Yes. Punishing a team in the last 2 minutes cause they didnt foul is not fair imo. Were they hindered cause they didnt have 6 fouls and had to use more time to get to 7? Of course. Unfair.

Sports gambling is so stupid, i had a Marquette -1.5 ticket and my heart almost stopped at that last colorado shot

If you believe they got punished, then your thinking is internally inconsistent.

If playing by the rules is commendable, then complaining about not being able to take advantage of BREAKING them because you originally followed them doesn’t make sense. Should a team follow the rules or not? The fact that you see the answer as contextual shows that it isn’t a question of anything but strategy.

In any event No one got punished. Colorado knew darn well that they had fouls to give, and could have and should have started giving them earlier. They didn’t. Too bad so sad.

Exact same thing happened to Texas last nite.

Poor anticipation, poor coaching, enjoy the summer.

Semantics. They got punished cause they did not commit enough fouls. That is indisputable.

Well they also seemingly let Marquette get to the basket with ease, which might be why they had few fouls.

Colorado played a good game on offense, but ssided Marquette. Marquette one because they played better defense.

also lost in this is if they did have more fouls, it probably means marquette has more points and the game isn't as close

Far from a great Marquette game but they were better Coached and poised. Go Big East

Which is exact what Stan Van Gundy said doing the game. He said Colorado was going to have to get some stops.. They did not and did not ever foul.
