I don't see much enthusiasm here for a basketball board. Right now nets have 1/6 of the picks in the first round. Feel a lot more trades on the way.

There would be more enthusiasm if we had players anybody wanted to draft.

As a Nets fan, I am interested how they approach this draft. They have No. 8 and then four of the last 10 first round picks -- plus No. 36 overall in round two.

Seems only the first 2 picks are unanimous.
That's really as it should be. It's not exciting tv to begin with. We need a little mystery.

Baily and Harper will get contracts worth many millions and the question is will they donate some money to Rutgers NIL fund? Not sure one and doners have any school commitments in terms of financial support no matter how wealthy they become overnight. Anyone want to venture a guess?

It's not often you have a roster with two legit lottery picks and a dozen guys named Fred -- Ivy-caliber players at best.
"A Dozen Guys Named Fred"!!!!! Man, I wish I was old enough to play in a league, cause that would be the name of the team!!!

According to Carino, that is what RU is hoping for and expecting from those two guys.

Well the Harper initial rookie deal is more than dad's lifetime league earnings

NBA has a big financial course correction to come. Media gave this league big money but even the most successful teams will only have a small windows before the apron clauses impact them. When someone like Steve balmer who can go up in valuation by nearly a billion in a calendar day doesn't seek to pay the penalties there is a problem.

Not sure how many dynasty types we will ever see going forward.
