I know that NCAA Men's Basketball decisions or lack thereof...they are afraid of lawsuits, but it's their game, not the players. I agree that players need and deserve to be paid. But why can't NCAA say "the college institutions own this version of basketball, we will share TV revenue income with players, limit player income via the same team cap for all NCAA Division 1 teams and a player can only transfer once without sitting out a year, if a player wants more money and more freedom, go somewhere else, like pro, either NBA or overseas or G-League whatever".
(I know I oversimplify, but really..there's CBA, college paying players directly, changing population of players and parents, greedy agent types....)
Situation is worse than pro game, NBA has a salary cap!

This has ruined college basketball forever, look at Final 4 and even prior rounds, all chalk teams...final 4 all #1 seeds with $$$$. Might as well have the NCAA tourney mimic the NCAA football tourney!

I bought the URL, savecollegehoops.com (no site up), earlier this year after watching the Oklahoma State game from my season ticket location, which the renewal decision remains undecided. 2025 SHU Pirates team was hard to watch, worst I can remember, and I am in my mid-60s.

Thoughts, input, comments?

What did you say in 2008 when 4 #1 seeds made it?

A seemingly never ending waterfall of money available in college sports. It’s amazing hue much money is available.

12s over 5s this year...a 12 4 seconds and a gather step away from a sweet 16...a 10 knocked out a 2 and then was close to an elite 8...are we bitter over double digit seed or mid majors with a hard path?

What entity are you bargaining with to set up a CBA and potentially a salary cap?

You can't unilaterally limit income. That's restraint of trade.
