16 regions all had P4 hosts as national seeds...while some of them lost only 1 school non P4 advanced to super regionals...this is alarming

The death of college sports was already on its way, this is neither surprising nor unexpected. Sad.

This is just a stupid post, this is no new phenomenon:

2025 = 16 P4 hosts
2024 = 15 P4 hosts
2023 = 16 P4 hosts
2022 = 15 P4 hosts
2021 = 16 P4 hosts
2020 = 16 P4 hosts

P-4 schools that do most of the hosting are in warm weather areas. That’s one reason why those conferences have the best softball teams. NY/NJ/NE area not conducive to having very good softball teams thanks to the weather. That’s why there’s usually only a conference champ playing in the Regionals.

Did it really take someone until May 19th of 2025 to find out what's happening in college athletics is alarming. LOL
