It is just amazing that these two players are off the radar and cannot contribute anything on the court. Two players who really held their own against Louisville, Kentucky and Maryland have been exiled.
I thought TT was absolutely awful against GTown tonight. He played offense on an intramural level .I don't believe I saw Nelson do anything way out of bounds in his few minutes???
How the hell did they get to this point? Nelson has been practicing for months with the team and TT for two years! Did these two get handled properly? Willard has to take some heat for this too. The two players themselves deserve the bulk of the criticism.
When Nelson's play went down so did McKnights. Is there a connection? Don't know. Willard took the competition out of the equation too. TT is just a very bizarre basketball player. Adding Gill's defense did not make up for that little extra these two provided on offense.
Either way if the season ends on this note then I can't have these two taking away two ships from a program that finds it hard to recruit. I would hope they either can contribute down the stretch. If not it may be time to move on.
