From Clark....

............And, this is important, because, prior to this game we had our doubts about whether Dickinson would be named to the prestigious McDonald’s All-American Team. But, after his performance here, he should be a no-brainer for the team, plus he should move back ahead of 6’5 Earl Timberlake in the national rankings.

Remember, Timberlake is the other half of DeMatha’s great one-two punch and he did a little bit of everything in this game, as is evident by the fact that he finished with 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists, two blocked shots, two steals, 5-12 field goals, 0-3 3-pointers, and 2-3 free throws.

We would like for Timberlake to improve his ball handling and passing skills and become a more consistent outside shooter. But he is a relentless warrior and one of the best defensive players in the high school ranks today, plus he really is the heart-and-sole and the unsung hero for this team. He also is good enough to be a serious McDonald’s All-American candidate, as well as a legit top 25-ranked players nationally in the Class of 2020.
