- Head coach Shaheen Holloway and Villanova head coach Kyle Neptune have had similar career paths; both are from New York City (Neptune, Brooklyn; Holloway, Queens), both started as video coordinators at their current institutions, both served their first full-time assistant coaching jobs at MAAC schools (Neptune, Niagara; Holloway, Iona) and both went head-to-head as assistants on the court and on the recruiting trail from 2013-2018 at their current schools.
