ESPN, Fox, Warner Bros. to launch streaming app

ESPN, Fox and Warner Brothers Discovery announced plans on Tuesday to launch a sports streaming platform in the fall that will include offerings from at least 15 networks and all four major professional sports leagues.

Subscribers to Disney+, Hulu and/or Max will be able to access the new Fox Sports/ESPN/WBD service. It will be made available via a new app.

Subscribers will have access to linear networks including ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, SECN, ACCN, ESPNEWS, ABC, FOX, FS1, FS2, BTN, TNT, TBS, truTV, as well as ESPN+

The service will include content from:

The expected cost is about $50 per month. For $70 a month, you can get YouTube TV and get all of this, plus everything else this doesn't have -- which is quite bit of sports and beyond. If this were already up and running today, you would not be able to watch the Super Bowl, for instance.
