If all goes well this week, we will have some concrete information about a new NIL option. Six fans/alumni have volunteered to get a NIL program started, we hope that more fans get involved if/when we get things off the ground. The Athletic Department seems to be embracing the idea of full throttle support for NIL, as evidenced by Bryan Felt's comments in the recent newsletter. Bryan is aware that we are working on another NIL option and his recent newsletter comments may be acknowledging that:
"We are currently working on some additional NIL opportunities that we will announce soon, as seeking avenues to further ensure Seton Hall student-athletes are given every opportunity to capitalize on their name, image and likeness remains a top priority."
We are in need of a volunteer who has experience building websites. Should everything fall into place, we'll have everything ready to accept donations except a website to promote and market our program. The new NIL option will not interfere with Eric's fundraising abilities and will focus on capturing smaller donations from a larger pool of fans and alumni.
