I don’t see any likelihood of him taking any questions about the coverup, if questions are permitted with his response the likely “ I can’t respond because we’re in litigation “ .

Probably a good thing you are unable to attend. An event like that is not the time or place to do anything like what you have planned.

Probably a good thing you are unable to attend. An event like that is not the time or place to do anything like what you have planned.

Considering it is potentially the only time to speak to him one on one if it is truly a "meet" opportunity, it's the exact time to do it versus hiding behind screen names on a message board. There is a way to hold an uncomfortable conversation without being inappropriate.
