Not the guy I wanted for 2020 or 2024.
He made most of his money after his stint as VP from public speaking and book deals in 2017 and 2018. I don't really have an issue with someone overpaying him to speak or write.

I'm going to guess you don't really have an issue with "multimillionaires" in office making money though.

Now that's a whopper, even from you. Complete fake news. His net worth was nearly cut in half over the course of his first term (~4.5 billion to ~2.5 billion). It has recovered and grown to about 6.5 billion since leaving office, mostly due to the Trump Media company becoming publicly traded.

Indeed and after almost 4 decades in the senate and another 8 in the White House, Biden was not really one of them.

He became a multimillionaire in 2017 because of a book deal and speaking fees.

I could be wrong but I’ve explained my view here based on the facts as we know them, and nothing has happened since to change my opinion. I just haven’t seen anything to suggest that Joe did something untoward while in office to help his son’s associates. The biggest claim was the firing of Shokin, but even Hunters associates testified that Shokin being fired was not good for Burisma. The theories just didn’t add up for me.

Just my opinion.

First, the family didn’t get 27 million. Hunters related entities did, about half went to Hunter. The other half was to hunters business partners.

The payments were for lots of things. Primarily investment deals. The acted as an agent and earned commissions. Hunters name naturally gets him in a room with people most wouldn’t have access to.

Could Joe have made calls to help his son make money? Yes. I don’t care if that occurred because unless Joe did something to act on their behalf with US policy, it really doesn’t matter.
Trump likely did the same for his children as well.

The Biden family did indeed get payments through the spider web of off shore accounts...how many were / are there? Why the need to money launder??? This smells so bad no amount of spin can clean it up until there is a thorough investigation. Of course that won't happen..... so I'm not kidding myself. No Biden will be held accountable..... now that Hunter is free from anything he may have committed over a ten year period and no further stink will likely settle on Joe.

See, that’s the thing, you see something that’s not unusual but you assume it is because you have no experience seeing ownership structures with offshoot entities. Sometimes to segregate certain deals especially in separate countries etc where there are different laws. There are hundreds of entities within Trumps structure. Not unusual.

You just see something unusual (to you) so you assume it must be something bad happening.

It’s fine, your opinion is that Biden sold out US policy for money. Agree to disagree there until I see something that actually points to that.

Please...... your response smacks of condescension. You should send your response to James Comet. He has a new book on the subject. . I have said that unless there is a thorough investigation we will never know, but it looks and smells pretty suspicious for the Biden family business.
