Seems a bit rich. I don't bet anymore, but if I did I'd take the Hall. 'Course I'd like to see us win outright. No small task at their place, though. Go Pirates !

that does seem rich; but they always seem to know.......

Right now ESPN shows -14 with 68% taking the Hall.

This info changes by the hour.

Our record @ Nova over the past few years:

2014-15: L 80-54
2013-14: L 70-53
2011-12: L 84-76
2009-10: L 81-71

14 probably seems about right.

Marquette was 10point underdog to Providence last night and won. It can happen on any given night but either way I'd take the Hall and the points.

That seems way high. I think we'll hang in for a bit.

Was hoping it would be closer to 7 or 8. 14 seems like they are begging people to take Seton Hall.

Vegas really thinks of us as an 8 point dog on our home court to Nova?

I'm not sure people realize just how good Villanova is. #1 in KenPom for a reason. They win by well over an average of 20 points per game on their home floor.

Seton Hall has not seen an opponent of this level all year. I think fans are in for a shock tonight. Either we get blown out or win a close game. I don't see any in between tonight. 14 is entirely appropriate. Thought it would open at 15-17 to be honest.

But Providence is the most overrated team in America. Nova is a legit title contender. We have lost by an average of about 15 point there over the past few years.

Not surprised by this line at all. I'd even lay the points. Nova is really good (as shu09 points out), has played a tough schedule so far (we haven't), and is playing at home. This has bloodbath written all over it.

You have angered Corny T, he shall be here at any moment.

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT NECESSARILY INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.

I know no one wants to consider this possibility, but we just might be damned good. With all this PC bashing, they do have a first team AA point and some other very good players. Maybe top 10 was too high, but lets not act like they are second level. I know Nova is real good, but I saw them play over the weekend and my TV didn't blow up cause of all the brilliance being transmitted. We sound like Groucho when he said he would never join a club that would agree to let him join...lol.

I think we could be damn good. We have a very talented roster, that is on par or better then most of the teams in this conference. Plus we have one of the best players in this conference.

From Jerry's story. 14 points seems about right.

Seton Hall knows it well. The Pirates are 0-13 there since 1994, with an average loss margin of 15 points.

Hey who remembers the game up at Syracuse in Willard's first year with the Hazell "I'm back" moment. Nobody saw that coming, so who knows what we may see tonight. Tonight is a big task, but I'm sure Willard has everyone's attention. You can bring up the past history @Nova. When is the last time we had a group this talented, quick, and athletic going down there? Box Ochefu and Jenkins out. Make them move their feet and not reach. If we get into their bench at the big men positions, I like our chances. This Nova team is good, but we can flat out play too. Nova may consider itself Guard U, but I think this game comes down to the big men.

The spread sounds about right with their home floor being taken into consideration. Think the key is how our guys react to their runs. Given their percentages, they will have some hot streaks. If we stick to our game plan of team basketball I think our guys will handle the situation and can play with these guys.

Got to get out on the shooters but careful not to get us in foul trouble. Hopefully they won't shoot near 68% tonight if we keep pressure on the ball. Obviously, we have to protect the basketball and minimize our turnovers.

We know what happened at the Rock and at MSG, now it's time to try for the trifecta. Although it's quite a challenge, it can be done.

Also, I think the road game at Marquette especially after their Providence win, should be invaluable for their confidence. These guys are young but they didn't get to where they are by being shy of challenges.

Good Luck Pirates. Win or lose, make us proud.

I would be absolutely shocked if we covered. Give the points.

My brother, who is not a Hall fan but is addicted to gambling, just called me sounding as giddy as a school girl because he got Seton Hall with 15 points.
I told him it sounds generous but not to hold his breath. The last 2 minutes of college basketball often times lead to final scores that aren't really indicative of the game.
GO HALL!
