Awful call after an airballed 3 by the ashman - ref lets CU guy call a TO - loooked like he had landed out of bounds to me.

then the ashman banks in a lucky 3 from the corner - made him smile rim to rim...

then dixon dribbles it off his leg.

BET could be great this year.

McDermott has done a great job this year.

I don't know if Kalk truly never fouls, gets the benefit of a friendly whistle every game, or some combination of both.

But to be as impactful a defender/rim protector as that guy is and seemingly never be in foul trouble is remarkable.

havent watched then a lot but dixon seems very unclutch for such a good player

I don't have a sense for the same reason but I always hesitate putting a label like that on a player as good as Dixon without watching them all the time.

He absolutely carries that team at times. I feel like even their 3 point shooting is driven by teams focusing so much on him.

I had creighton -2.5 absolutely brutal beat
I could be totally off-base with this, but seems that Ashworth's numbers have jumped significantly with Isaacs down.

I don't think that's an indictment on either player. More that when you take one ball dominant player off the court, it provides an avenue for another to step up with more usage and opportunities. And he seemingly has done that.

Not so much the side but the upper corner. That angle is almost near impossible and if you tried it 100 times maybe with luck you might hit one.

Not a Nova hater but how many times because of Wright did Nova get seemily every 50/50 call in the game? Nice to see a break go the other way for a change.

Later on in the Wright tenure it certainly seemed that way. But part of that was also attributable to how good, smart and disciplined those teams were. When you play like that you get those breaks.

Refs are human. They should not be intimidated by any coach regardless of his accomplishments. But that's not how it works and most every game Wright started with a 5-0 lead. More at Nova.

Agreed. Wasn’t that way always with Wright. Only the latter part after the success.

Hard to say. If the shot was missed and assuming Nova got the rebound, no guarantee, Creighton would have fouled and I think Villanova would had had 2 shots. There would not have been much time left after the foul shots and maybe Nova if they made the first would have missed the second on purpose. That would have been a push.

Still cannot figure out how Ashworth's shot went in after hitting the side of the backboard--guess nova was destined to go down.
Qvan remember how long ago it was but Iowa beat Rutgers at the RAC with same kind of 3. A 3 with a kiss in the corner is a very rare shot
