Monmouth just might be the most patient D-1 school with coaches I’ve ever seen.
Calloway was fired 3 years too late, now Rice is re-upped despite not making a single tournament in 14 years?
Monmouth went from nec to maac to caa...changes recruiting...shame the justin robinson team didn't get to the ncaas
They were also a few points away from beating Shaheen and St Peters. That team with Shavar was very good.
I think Rice is a pretty solid coach. Maybe the bigger surprise is that he hasn't moved to a bigger job by this point.
Monmouth is great spot. Just be good enough and you live in a nice location and not have to move the family around.
Have had 4 coaches since the 80s or maybe the 70s.
May change a bit with new conference, but it is a nice place to have a long run.
