Watching a little Rutty hoops and pulling for the Gophers to put another stake in the Fighting Steve P's. (both Pikiel and Poloti). Who do I see pop up but old friend Femi? "Shocked " he is now onto his fourth school in five years. Now 24. I checked out his stats - he's the same dude he was for us. Around 7 a game. Just saw him not finish a bunny and hit one out of two from the stripe. Shooting 50% just like he did at Setonia. The old adage is apropos here - one team's trash is another team's trash as well. Hoping for a jump in production is often fool's gold in today's portal world. Why it is so hard to build a team through the portal. Expecting a better player when they're set in stone like Femi.

Shame of it all is how has any of this, along with multiple high schools, prepared him for life that doesn’t include basketball?
Sadly their job is "not good college basketball player" -- many will have no idea what to do after that job is done.
And multiple high schools in multiple states as well… and yet he’s never been very good.

Wonder how much he made over the course of his travels? Hope it was worthwhile and also wonder if he was able to get a degree, The latter is the bigger travesty; these players should not be allowed to transfer to a third or more school if they didn’t get a degree.
