WTF? RU just laying down to a bad Nebraska team. Wide receivers are open by 20 yards! 21-0 early in the second quarter and it's not even that close. Offense is not much better. Laviano is a sitting duck. Can't see Flood surviving this season, maybe not even after this game.

College football is so much different in other parts of the country. In the south when the state school is playing, the streets and sidewalks are barren as everyone is watching the game.
In NJ I didn't even know that RU played the number 1 team and national champs until it was over and I was watching the 11pm news that night.

The difference between state schools in the south and the state schools in New Jersey is that the state schools in the south play high major Division I football but the state schools in New Jersey all play at the Division III level. High major Division I football is not played anywhere in New Jersey.

Lol as if we do college basketball like they do it in Kansas or Kentucky. All 4,000 fans at the game Friday night to see real college basketball. Seton Hall basketball has just as long a way to go as Rutgers football does unless Kansas and Kentucky decide to put a black curtain up to cover the empty seats. This is a Chris Carter come on man moment. We are living in glass houses and throwing stones when we can't even open up the upstairs vs the #3 team in the nation on a Saturday afternoon last year.

10k for a school our size is not a bad job.

It's a bad job. Justifying it by the size of the school is bad. This program sold out the Brendan Byrne Arena and had over 15,000 on many occasions. We are no better attendance wise than our in state rival sadly. No reason for both schools not to sell out their top sport. The product of the main sport at both schools are well below where they need to be. 9 straight seasons without an NCAA appearance is tough to deal with.
