For those of you who enjoy speculating about a coaching change and a short list, please don't let me see suggestions for a return to Tommy Amaker. Despite a very solid roster, one not normally seen in the Ivy, his team lost last night to Yale at home and with it goes his chance for what should have been another NCAA bid. The last thing we need here is a coach who cannot transform talent into winning basketball teams.

good post. I do understand your point. but I know how he left us and that was not good. not the first or the last coach to leave a program like that. I have a feeling if we got a coach who left there former program in a similar fashion and he was successful I doubt many would complain. with that said I would take him back in a heartbeat. mainly because he did apologize I believe to Pat Hobbs a while ago or someone in the Administration saying it was the worst decision or move in his career to have left Seton Hall the way he did. Amaker though is a good man and all I know I want us back t being relevant at the very least. He I believe would come I here and recruit like hell . In year 3 we were a Sweet 16 team and very close to an Elite 8. Going into year 4 we were ranked NUMBER 1 in the country by BASKETBALL TIMES MAGAZINE. had Darius Lane on the cover. Its extremely hard to overlook all of this ans just because he lost last night has no bearing on anything. He has been a Head coach for at least 14 years and I guarantee is a much better in game coach than he was when he started out here. Combine that with his recruiting and we have something. But I believe his wife loves it at Harvard so all of this unfortuanately may be meaningless. Plus the school loves Willard by all accounts.
