The whole idea of pardons and executive actions are the disgrace.
Guys, it's not about the quantity. It's about who he's pardoning.
Are their crimes worse than those on Obama or Bush’s lists? Clinton pardoned 16 members of the FALN. Ford pardoned Nixon; Regan...Casper Weinberger. The “who” isn’t new.

Do some checking....what he’s doing is no worse than those who preceded him. They all did it. Doesn’t make it right, but he’s no different.
Which campaign chair, who also told his deputy campaign chair to “sit tight” because they will be “taken care of” did Obama pardon?

Not defending Trumps pardons at all, but pardoning people that carried out bombings that killed innocent citizens is worse in my book.

I’m sure the whataboutisms will continue, but I don’t believe there is another example of a president pardoning (or commutation with stone) people who did not cooperate / lied to investigators on behalf of the president.
While I would disagree with some of the pardons, as I have with past presidents, this current group is particularly egregious.

I have never been a fan of the Presidential pardons, especially when person is linked to the President directly. As others have said, Trumps pardons & number of them are not out of line with any other recent Presidents.

While not a fan of Biden, I am ready for inauguration day, I have Trump news fatigue at this point, and we just need to move forward.

And once again, I’m not defending him. The whole Presidential pardon and clemency process is wrong and has been abused by many Presidents including Trump.
clearly you mentioned pardoning war criminals as being worse, aka saying trumps pardons were better. oops trump pardoned one too.
the difference is that trump ran his entire platform on draining the swamp. hopefully all the trumpers realized they were played like a fiddle. he drained the swamp to set up a new swamp high rise.
I actually believe in the Presidential pardon if done correctly. The whataboutisms defending Trump is a disgraceful attempt to justify that Trump is no different than any other President.
Pardons are given for a number of reasons. Some have committed crimes long ago and have served long sentences while the evidence against them may or may nor be all that convincing. some committed crimes and served out their sentence but then led a life repenting and living a good life.
Some committed a crime but the punishment was deemed too harsh.
Some pardon friends and family members who committed crimes but were relatively minor and they served their sentence out long ago.
No one has blatantly pardoned someone who was in active conspiracy with the President to obstruct justice on the Russian probe. Or blatant family pardons of Charles Kushner who did the most vile things to his own family in order to cover up his crimes. Or corrupt politicians who were still serving their sentences because they were supporters of Trump. Hell he even pardoned Blago. This is an abuse of power that no one thought would happen. But Trump has exposed all the weaknesses that our government can do little against a mad president.

I would just hope one thing is clear on both sides of the aisle right into the middle... there was no draining of the swamp. Trump is just the politician we could have expected, acted in his best interest like Dems and GOP over the interests of the nation. He was as political as the next guy in office , and those before them and those to come.
The process is wrong? Well change the Constitution. SpK v the founding fathers? If this is wrong are other parts of the Constitution wrong as well? Perhaps. But, I don’t agree that SPK is the person to make that determination.
Presidential Pardons are vetted through the Justice Department to see whether they should be eligible for a pardon. This process has been followed until Trump.
He never drained the swamp. He just created a separate swamp with the likes of Kushner leading the charge.
He is right about the current stimulus bill though. It’s a complete disgrace and shows how out of touch both parties are with the reality on the ground in America. Just wished he got involved earlier but he was too focused on crying about his loss.
