Babbit family had sued for wrongful death.... which sounds like a legitimate lawsuit. She is the only one who died as a direct result of that day. Biden admin successfully covered her death up pretty quick. Where was the call for government transparency then???? Govt. now settles suit with family. What is wrong with that?

Seems like Baraka is getting off easy.
The penalty includes fine print where if you support Trump you can be shot and killed for trespassing. If you’re anti Trump we need your vote so you can’t be killed. It’s very well written by America’s best and brightest
Blah blah blah. Amazing how you weren’t so supportive of the Seattle police months earlier. Keep supporting politicians against walls until they need a barrier to protect themselves.
Mind boggling that anyone could watch that video and believe that he was wrong to shoot her.
You know what happens when you break into a. Government building, and then break through the window of a barricaded door with and gun pointed at you by a cop whose job is to protect the people behind that door? You get shot.
None of us know what would have happened if she got through. Would she have been violent? Maybe, would the 2nd person that went through? The 3rd, 4th, etc… we have no idea because the cop DID HIS JOB which was to protect the people behind that door.
That should not be a partisan take. If a person anywhere is breaking through a window in a building that they broke into with a gun pointed at them by a cop, they are going to get shot and it will be justified.
Using your logic, you would have each of the 10 - 20 million illegal aliens shot. They broke into the country.... who knows what they have in mind and how many innocent people and migrants have suffered for it.
The fact that the matter of Babbit's death was kept in such secrecy is part of the problem. But you are so used to having news censored you have come to accept it.
Border agents are authorized to use lethal force if there is an imminent threat. There have been many such cases resulting in the immigrants death…. So yes, those agents would be justified when there is a threat. Just like the officer with Babbitt.
What don’t you know? It’s all on video. There was like 2 months when we didn’t know the officers name.
We’ve all seen the video. What did Babbitt do that the others in the building didn’t? Was she the only one who caused imminent threat? Or should they all have been shot? Did she cause anymore threat than the people in Seattle and Minneapolis? Or would it have been ok to shoot all of them? Maybe everyone should’ve just fired away for those 8 months straight.
