Since we were hoping that some of the Transfers would handle the PG situation, it hasn’t worked out so far. Felton is a freshman. He still has a lot to learn, but he hasn’t really hurt us playing PG. I trust in SHA, but I see that with additional work he could develop into a competent PG. also he is a dagger on 3’s when he gets his feet set. Now he has to hit them off the dribble. The whole team is a work in progress. But I really believe that the more SHA has them working together the better they will get. I don’t think he should go more than 9 deep, but even that is a lot. He has to find the guys who can do this together. Dylan can’t carry the team with too many minutes. He gets sloppy. He can hit one when the time is right, but would probably be better off the bench.

Team is very easy to defend. No post game, suspect outside shooting & rarely use dribble drive penetration which is almost exclusively to the right side.
This is pretty spot on.

we are close to 40% from 3. so i cant say outside shooting is suspect. our 2 pt shooting? so far, i suspect it stinks.
We lack shooters. Yes, we've shot fairly well but one thing we've done a good job of is getting open looks from three. Our problems have come when we've fallen in love with the shot.

I am stunned at how poor we are inside the arc. I suspect (besides stinking) that directly stems from a lack of post offense and too much traffic in the lane when we try to drive. We also take too many low-percentage twos -- those mid-range jumpers many teams try to avoid.

And we don't try to go inside until there's less than 10 seconds on the shot clock

Great observation --Team has to start the O with more than 10 seconds on shot clock. Prince A and Tubek ( in fact most of Team ) has to catch the ball better

If I was coaching against us I would be playing a 3 - 2 zone .
Yea, but start as a 1-3-1 half court trap falling back into a 3/2 or 2/3.

This would be incredibly effective to use when we have Wusu running the lead guard spot to hopefully generate some transition points and minimize time spent in our half court offense.

We have some serious length and enough athleticism to pull this off
