I didn't get one until I had kids. I started getting one every year when my daughter was born.

Like I said, before having kids, I didn’t get the flu vaccine. After having kids, my priorities changed.

At first it was to protect them, after that it’s because I really can’t take time off in the winter.

I mean, I am fairly fit, eat healthier than most and exercise a few times a week.

Ive had the flu while otherwise very healthy. It sucks. Im not worried about dying but I really just can’t take a few days off in the winter. I will keep getting a flu shot every year.

Why can’t respect personal choice? I don’t get a flu, HPV, or shingles vaccine. I prefer to focus my energy on living a healthy lifestyle and avoiding medications if I can. I try to avoid surgery at all cost.

I don’t care if you wear a mask or get the flu shot. That’s your choice.
