I wish the articles included the universities that were competing. Congrats Pirates!!!

It’s great to see they cross country teams do well as John Moon does it with so little support for his program that gets minimal attention and media coverage.

Unfortunately, a cross country team without a track program is pretty much a waste. Any competition they beat has to be terrible. No runner with talent is going to run CC in the fall without a chance to compete in the winter and spring. And except for very rare exceptions like Bryan Spoonire, SHU track was always based around sprinters and not distance runners. The school really, really stuck it to Moon in dropping the program he constructed.

Probably because the competition was so, so weak. While it's better to finish 1st or 2nd than not, this is just embarassing:

Mens
1 - Salisbury
2 - Seton Hall
3 - Shenandoah
4 - Gallaudet
5 - Delaware Tech CC

Womens
1 - Seton Hall
2 - Salisbury
3 - Shenandoah

LOL, they both basically finish dead last every year in the Big East. See lloyd's post above.
