SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella announced today the addition of Penn State transfer Cam Rust (Wakefield, R.I.) to the program.

Rust joins the Pirates after spending her first collegiate year as a member of the Penn State University basketball program. She will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

As a freshman at Penn State, Rust appeared in 19 games averaging 1.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in nearly five minutes per contest. The 6-foot-1 forward had a double-double in only her second collegiate game with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Canisius on Nov. 7.

In high school, Rust was a star for four years at Worcester Academy, averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds per game. A top-100 rated player by several agencies including ESPN's Watch List, she had a four-star ranking from Prospects Nation and a 90-Grade according to ESPN.

Thought it was a men’s transfer with the name Cam.

the women’s team seems like they know what they are doing…

Perhaps, but by adding a 1.8 point per game player? (If Shaheen added such a player, what would we be saying?)
The women’s team has almost a complete roster already, kept some good pieces, brought in some good transfer players earlier and now adding depth pieces like this one.☝️

I tried to keep my thoughts on the Trove to our paying subscribers.

Counting the rev share SHU has over $6M NIL. But it seems we are waiting for the judge's final decision before we spend. There are many way to circumvent that but it seems we are playing it straight for now.
What a disaster

Is this why we weren’t proactive in reaching out to potential kids during the season too?

Playing it straight is certainly a nice way of putting it.
