LSU 58, Seton Hall 40 (F) – Nov. 20, 2010 (Walsh Gymnasium)

SCOUTING LSU
LSU is coming off a tremendous 2023-24 season that featured a 31-6 final record, which included a 13-3 Southeastern Conference mark, and a ride to the NCAA Regional Final. The Tigers fell to top-ranked South Carolina in the championship game of the SEC Tournament, and were ousted in the NCAA Tournament by top-seeded Iowa after defeating Rice, Middle Tennessee and UCLA.
This season, LSU is expected to again be one of the premiere teams in the country. They enter the season with one of the best trios in the nation. ESPN released its preseason player rankings with Aneesah Morrow at No. 7, Flau'Jae Johnson at No. 8 and Mikaylah Williams at No. 17. All three were named to the Naismith Award Watch List. The award goes to the nation's top player at year's end. LSU was picked to finish third in the tough, 16-team SEC, according to the conference's preseason coaches poll.
So far this season, head coach Kim Mulkey's squad is one of the few teams in the country that remains unbeaten. The Tigers enter Tuesday's matchup a perfect 12-0 and rank No. 4 in the country. LSU has averaged a +36.0 victory margin in their first 12 games, which includes a victory over No. 22 NC State in the Bahamas on Nov. 27.
LSU is coming off an 85-57 victory over Louisiana-Lafayette on Sunday. Four Tigers are currently averaging in double-figures in scoring, led by Johnson's 21.1 points per game. Morrow is averaging a double-double with 17.8 points and 13.7 rebounds per contest.
