LAST GAME
Senior Sidney Cooks (Kenosha, Wis.) hit the game-winning shot with 2.4 seconds left to lift the Pirates to a thrilling 74-73 victory over Middle Tennessee on Thursday.

The Pirates trailed by four points with only 23 seconds left, but Lauren Park-Lane (Wilmington, Del.) completed a three-point play with 17 seconds left to cut The Hall's deficit to one. Sophomore Amari Wright (Jacksonville, Fla.) then stole the ball to give possession back to The Hall. Off a timeout, Andra Espinoza-Hunter (Ossining, N.Y.) found Cooks for a layup to give Seton Hall the lead with only 2.4 left to play.

Cooks had a monster effort for the Pirates, scoring a game-high 28 points on an efficient 10-for-13 shooting, which included 4-for-4 from three-point range. She also had a team-best seven rebounds.

Seton Hall All-Time vs. the Jackrabbits: First Meeting

SCOUTING SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
The Jackrabbits are 28-9 on the year - the 11th straight 20+ win season for Coach Aaron Johnston and South Dakota State. The team finished the conference season with a share of the regular season title at 17-1.

Six members of the South Dakota State women's basketball program have earned All-Summit League postseason honors.

Head coach Aaron Johnston was named Coach of the Year, Myah Selland garnered First Team honors and Paige Meyer was named to the Second Team while Paiton Burckhard, Tylee Irwin and Tori Nelson were Honorable Mentions. Meyer was also an All-Newcomer team selection and Irwin earned all-defensive team accolades. All five players started all 18 Summit League games.

South Dakota State earned an automatic bid to the Postseason WNIT and has dispatched all five of their opponents in route to the championship game at home, Frost Arena. The Jackrabbits have hosted and defeated Ohio, Minnesota, Drake, Alabama, and most recently, UCLA on Thursday.

Four players are currently averaging in double-figures for the Jackrabbits, led by Selland's 14.3 points per game. Selland had 24 points and nine rebounds against the Bruins on Thursday.

This should be a very close game at South Dakota St. Probably around 6000 in the building and much like the atmosphere at MTS. It looks like they played all of these WNIT games at home. They have beaten Minnesota, Alabama and UCLA along the way, They look to be a strong three point shooting team(39.2). SDS have been turning the ball over a lot in the last two games. MTS may have been the perfect prep team for this one because they are quite similar. They will have the advantage in bench point production. They played last Sunday and also Thursday night. SHU played Monday and Thursday. All of the games were close.

For SHU the big 3 will have to go North of 50 points in any combination for a victory. A key will be keeping Sidney Cooks on the court and out of foul trouble. No one has to have an unbelievable game, but they all must contribute. IF they can keep SDS to under 10 made threes they'll have a real good chance . That won't be easy. Composure and keep the focus high in the latter part of the 2nd quarter and entire 3rd. Park-Lane just has to lead the way as far as tempo and getting teammates involved. Espinoza-Hunter has to leave it all out there in her last game as she has been.
