THE GAME

LAST GAME
Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella collected the 500th victory of his remarkable career with a 68-57 win over East Carolina in the finale of the Baha Mar Hoops Pink Flamingo Championship on Nov. 22.
Graduate student Azana Baines (Blackwood, N.J.) erupted for a game-high 24 points on 10-for-18 shooting and A'Jah Davis (DeKalb, Ill.) had a double-double with 11 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.
The Pirates used a 21-2 run spanning the end of the first quarter and beginning of the second to take the lead and never trailed again. The game was only the second meeting between Seton Hall and East Carolina, two of three Division I teams with "Pirates" as a mascot.

AGAINST PRINCETON
Seton Hall and Princeton will lock up for the 22nd time in history on Wednesday. The Pirates own a 13-8 all-time series lead, but the Tigers have won four of the last six contests. The Hall has seen success in recent years in Jadwin Gym having won the last two road games in the series.
SCOUTING PRINCETON
Princeton is coming off another strong season, which featured a 24-6 final record and a 12-2 mark in Ivy League play. The Tigers won the conference tournament, earning an at large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Riding a 15-game win streak into the NCAAs, Princeton upset seventh-seeded NC State in the opening round before ending their season with a seven-point loss to second-seeded Utah.
Princeton was picked to finish first among the eight teams of the Ivy League according to the 2023-24 Coaches Preseason Poll. The Tigers return Kaitlyn Chen, Ivy Player of the Year, and Ellie Mitchell, Ivy Defensive Player of the Year, along with Madison St. Rose, Ivy Rookie of the Year for the 2023-24 campaign. Chen was named to the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List.
Princeton has been highly impressive so far this season and enters Wednesday's contest with a 4-2 record. Half of its opponents have been nationally ranked this season. The Tigers fell by only three points at No. 3 UCLA on Nov. 17 and lost by only nine points against No. 19 Indiana on Saturday. Among its impressive victories is a 77-63 win over No. 20 Oklahoma on Thanksgiving.
St. Rose and Chen are both currently averaging 17 points per game. Mitchell is pulling down a team-best 12.7 rebounds per contest.
