LAST GAME
Graduate students Yaya Lops (Stamford, Conn.) and Faith Masonius (Spring Lake, N.J.) each scored 17 points as the Pirates picked up its second lop-sided victory to start the season, 67-44, over Fordham in Walsh Gym on Tuesday.
The Hall trailed for only the first 1:47 of the contest despite not having a great shooting night. Seton Hall shot only 35.5 percent from the floor, compared to Fordham's 39.5 percent. The Pirates, however, forced 24 turnovers, and committed only 11.
Masonius, the reigning BIG EAST Player of the Week, flirted with a triple-double, finishing with 17 points, six rebounds and six assists. Lops had 17 points, four rebounds and drilled a pair of three-pointers. Although she didn't have a great shooting night, sophomore Savannah Catalon (Mansfield, Texas) drew six charges defensively. Another defensive star, Amari Wright (Jacksonville, Fla.) had five steals.

AGAINST BRYANT
Seton Hall and Bryant will meet for the third time in history on Saturday with the Pirates having won the first two meetings by an average margin of victory of 32.0 points per game. Most recently, The Hall routed the Bulldogs, 73-45, on November 12 of last season in Walsh Gym.
SCOUTING BRYANT
Bryant is coming off a 15-15 season a year ago, which included an 8-8 mark in America East Conference play. The Bulldogs won three of their final four regular season games, but saw its campaign come to an end with a 56-51 loss to Binghamton in the America East Tournament quarterfinals.
Mia Mancini was named the 2023-24 America East Rookie of the Year and also made the All-America East Rookie and Third Teams. Mariona Planes Fortuny earned a spot on the All-America East First Team, and Nia Scott made the All-America East Rookie Team.
This year, the Bulldogs were picked to finish fourth in the nine-team league according to the preseason coaches' poll. Mancini was named a Preseason All-Conference selection.
Bryant enters Saturday's contest with a perfect 3-0 record having defeated Merrimack, Bridgewater State and Central Connecticut State by an average margin of victory of 16.3 points per game. Most recently, the Bulldogs defeated CCSU, 59-48 on the road on Tuesday. Brigham currently leads Bryant with 18.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per game.
