Pirates Prepare for Crucial BIG EAST Battle Against St. John's

South Orange, N.J. - Seton Hall men's soccer looks to claim a crucial win for its BIG EAST Championship hopes when St John's travels to Owen T. Carroll Field on Wednesday. Game time is scheduled for 6:56 p.m.

This is the 46th all-time meeting between the two BIG EAST rivals.

SERIES HISTORY
  • Seton Hall and St. John's last met on October 18, 2023, in the Pirates' penultimate road match of the season. The Red Storm got out of the gates quickly, scoring in the seventh minute to take an early 1-0 advantage. Later in the half, a 25th minute goal pushed St John's lead to 2-0. The lone Pirate shot in the first half came from Virgil Dall'Agnol in the 37th minute, however his attempt went wide. St. John's was able to extend its lead in the second half, as a goal from Nicolas Feuriau Chateau in the 59th minute made it a 3-0 game. The best chance of the night for the Pirates came in the 69th minute, when a pass towards the edge of the box found Sam Bjork, but the shot went too high.
