SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. – Seton Hall women's basketball head coach Anthony Bozzella announced today that Savanna Jones (Eden Prairie, Minn.) has officially signed a national letter of intent to attend the University and play for the program beginning this fall.

"I'm really excited that Savanna has decided to join our family," Bozzella said. "Her ability to catch and shoot, as well as defend the basket will fit in perfectly in our system."

A 6-foot-1 forward, Jones transferred from junior college, North Dakota State College of Science where she averaged 13.3 points and 7.7 rebounds in 35 games played. Named to the Mon-Dak All-Conference First Team, Jones helped lead her team to a 28-7 record and the Region 13 Championship last season.

Prior to college, Jones was a four-year standout at Eden Prairie High School, where she was named a team captain. A two-time All-Conference selection, she helped her team to a total of 78 wins over four years and two sectional titles.

Tony has a nicely balanced recruiting class consisting of three transfers and two true freshmen and continues to do well with the transfer pool of talent.
