Been a decade long issue but why is it we cannot land a reliable PG?

Not talking 4 or 5 star PG but a solid reliable PG who can learn and grow from Sha?

Sha complaining about he needs a PG but in a time where coach is doing the shopping he could of decided on a PG vs all the 6-5 wings etc

One would think that in NY/NJ area there would be a few Point Guard candidates ?
Sha complained after Game that no one was taking it to the basket. Problem was that moves to the Basket resulted in dribbles off the knees (Wusu) or wild awkward flips ( Toumi) -- the bigger problem was that Vanderbilt took it to the basket and set up clean looks from 3. Just a terrible effort across the board.

sha is notorious for swinging for the fences dating back to his time as associate head coach- Duval, Anderson, Briscoe to name a few. And during those Willard years we’d end up with a short roster and no point guards.

Sha is proving here with a perfect 3/3 on building very incomplete and inconsistent rosters.

He needs an advisor when it comes to building the roster at this point, especially given the resources. But plenty of teams rebuilt rosters with the proper players. Drake looks heck of a lot better than us. First year coach, mid major, less NIL

I don't know what options Holloway had on the market. You have to give it more time with Dual. Can he be Madison Jones or Quincy McKnight come January?

The Harmon situation is really the killer because I thought that guy would at least be able to run the point. Woof.

Good point Piratz -- Sha went hard for Dual ( and I thought he was a Major piece). He also thought a hidden gem would be Harmon -- Maybe it is more of a swing and miss than a failure to address Point Guard

The worst part about what we're dealing with is watching DAW dribble for 10 seconds at the start of the possession because he has no idea what he's looking at then makes a turnover. It happens so many times every game.

Agree but for 10 seconds the other Players get to rest cause no-one moves.

Which decade? Richmond, McKnight, even Shavar was reliable. Look, this year is tough but let’s get credible here.
