Paraphrasing.

Answers to my questions will begin in bold print.

Yeah, we toughed it out. We talked about it at halftime that in this league you are going to be in as many games like this as in easy games. Even when we got up 8 we had a tough offensive rebound that went off of Desi's shoulder for an easy putback layup for them. That was a big momentum changer. But we did the little things to gut out a win. You can't win pretty all the time.

Yes, in the huddle we discussed what we were going to do which was foul at the end.

I thought Deano did a good job in the first half getting rid of the ball. He had 4 assists to 1 turnover. He just has to get used to the fact when you're scoring 21 PPG you're going to get extra attention. I thought Juwan Johnson did a heck of a defensive job using his length. He's just going to have to get used to that. Especially early in games. Maybe get rid of the ball quickly knowing that eventually he'll get it back. But he's a tough son of a gun and that's why late I ran that play for him.

Playing them now is different than last year where you just has to worry about Fisher and Ellenson. They didn't shoot the basketball like they shoot it this year. This year Wojo is doing a great job of spreading everyone out. And I love their freshman point guard Howard. They're just a good basketball team that can put up a lot of points.

Yeah, it was important to keep Marquette off the foul line. I thought the game was extremely well officiated. I thought they called it the same way on both ends. I thought they let the guys play. I thought they let them get to the hoop. They let post play be physical which I thought was good. They let Fisher and Angel play down low. I don't know exactly what the foul total was (looking down at the stat sheet)....it was 15-10. Again, I thought it was a well officiated game.

Deano just scored his 1000th point. He's played so well. I have a lot of confidence in him. Even when he's struggling and he was struggling today I want the ball in his hands. He'll make the big play. Like I said before when he's struggling he has to learn to fight through it. Still, I have a lot of confidence in him and any time I can get the ball in his hands I will.
