Sure I recognize that people believe that. Like I said, politicians are not free from being a part of the problem but in my opinion, Trump is the most divisive president in my lifetime and it is not close.
Re Charlottesville, you have racists marching with torches shouting racist slogans, a riot leading to the Murder of someone and it took days for Trump to respond. The problem isn't that he tried to "both sides" the debate around statues... it's that he keeps leaving wiggle room so the racists, white nationalists, nazis whatever to believe he is on their side. Did it again at one of the debates with his "stand back and stand by" nonsense. According to the FBI, white supremist groups are the biggest domestic terrorist threat in the united states. When there has been a chance for Trump to resoundingly denounce them, he has failed every time.
All rioters and looters are bad apples. Not all protesters are rioters and looters.
Similarly, all white supremacists will vote for Trump, but not everyone who votes for Trump is a white supremist.

Trump was clear to the American people that means everyone, if you picked a fight he’s going to fight back. Why is that so hard to understand. Spy on his campaign, resist, not my president, Russia, Russia, impeach these are fighting words you get that right. Again promises made promises kept. The real bullies are the media and Democratic Party. This is why 50,000 people show up in the cold to see him, and there is zero enthusiasm on the other side just trump haters.

The Russia investigation was his own doing. He should not have hired Manafort. He should not have hired Flynn after he was warned he could be compromised. He should not have fired Comey after asking him him for Loyalty. That nonsense doesn't happen and there would have been no special counsel. He doesn't get credit for fighting back against stuff that is his own fault.
