He wasn't recommended by Rick Pitino.LOL
I'm sure if he was Pitinos asst. he would have been!!! Some people just are looking for stupid reasons to make blame.

It may get worse...due to a recent court ruling involving Morristown Medical Center, municipalities with colleges (non profit) may begin looking for them to pay property taxes.....or some payment in lieu thereof
Other than both being human beings, nothing about Cooley reminds me of bg. fwiw, Carr committed to Willard.I like Cooley. He is a Providence guy not good enough to play at PC coming out of high school. Althouhg he will continue to grow, in his first years there, he reminded me of Gonzalez: he committed to some very questionable kids who never saw the light of day.... similar to the Carr kid we made a pass at out of Baltimore.

You know, I have no earthly idea what MBF72 is talking about, the only person recruited that was questionable was Brandon Austin who never played a game. The minute he got on campus he kicked Duke Mondy off the team who was rumored to have been involved in some type of sexual conduct thing and he fired Assistant Coach Chris Driscoll (scumbag) who was hired by the previous staff to deliver Nerlens Noel.Other than both being human beings, nothing about Cooley reminds me of bg. fwiw, Carr committed to Willard.
ahh, that makes sense. Owens, shaking my head on that one for sure. Anyway the assistant coach who recruited all these guys outside of Ledo is the assistant head basketball coach under Avery Johnson at Alabama now.Since he mentioned Carr, I'm assuming he's including recruits who don't quality and you can add Ledo and Owens to the list.
That ain't happening. If it were that simple, other municipalities with hospitals would be jumping all over it, and it hasn't happened...yet. Can't see it happening to Catholic schools. Then why not Catholic high schools, whose parents already pay taxes for the public schools, plus tuition?
Oh it's happening alright. Bill if not introduced this week, then next. After hospitals other non profits should be concerned
