VCU is a good team. It will be at least a Q2 win, hopefully a Q1.

• Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75
• Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135
• Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240
• Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353

That Hofstra loss was neutral as well and they should be good in their conference. That's going to be a Q3 with I suppose some chance to become Q2 if all breaks well (unlikely). Hofstra was #112 in the NET last year and are better this year, so if they could sneak into Top-100 that would also become Q1.

The Fordham loss we threw away at the end (literally), forget it. Will take a miracle for that to be Q3, almost assuredly Q4.

I think there's a lot to like about VCU. They're a veteran, well-coached team and they're going to win a lot of games this year. I could see them being a second weekend NCAA team.

This is a nice win to help cancel out those two losses. You just hope if we get to that point, we've done enough to overcome them. It will already look better having a top 50-60 win as your best OOC win (if not better) than No. 158.

Plus the NET is also heavily reliant on metrics and losing 1-point games to bad teams versus losing by 10+ to weak power conference teams (Rutgers, Iowa, USC last year) is probably not the same impact. We'll see how it goes.
